Lockdown weekends mean more reading time. Just finished this report from @SCER-eu. It’s a must read for nationalists committed to the sort of thoughtful detailed policy making which will be necessary when the current crisis is over scer.scot/database/ident…

RT @SamCoatesSky: Migration From January, new EU migrants will now have to pay £620 per person per year (currently free) - so charge of almost £2,500 a year for a family of 4 on top of other fees and charges. That alone will be a big disincentive to potential migrants

RT @Ianblackford_MP: This is unacceptable. This is not a game. Cooperation with our EU partners is essential. We do not need grandstanding from the Brexit fan boys at number 10. What matters is public safety, tackling the virus demands leadership, something @BorisJohnson is incapable of delivering.

RT @FergusEwingMSP: The EU remained the highest-valued regional market for Scottish food exports with a value of £849 million in Q1-Q3 2019, up £87 million (11.4%) on the same period last year.

RT @peterrsimms: As a scientist, I can confirm that this is an utter lie. Science in the UK strongly depends on the EU and freedom of movement. You are a liar and a fraud. twitter.com/OwenPaterson/s…

RT @AnnaJerzewska: EU-Singapore FTA is finally entering into force. On the 21 Nov Those who followed the negotiations and ratification process will know what challenges this deal faced. consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press…

RT @krishgm: Letwin passes. So Boris Johnson must now write to the EU requesting a delay - but this does NOT mean UK cannot Brexit on Oct 31st. That depends on how this week goes. twitter.com/britainelects/…

RT @theSNP: 🙅‍♂ Scotland's wishes and interests ignored by Westminster - again. 🇪🇺 NI gets a special EU deal, England and Wales get Brexit, whilst Scotland gets dragged out against our will. 🛑 Boris Johnson's #BrexitDeal is a bad deal - we will not accept it. snp.org/boris-johnsons…

2. For Scotland, this deal would take us out of EU, single market and customs union - all against our will. It would leave us as only part of UK being taken out without consent and with no say on future relationship. @theSNP will not vote for that.
