5/It’s sad that today’s announcement came late & now this logging company will no longer be part of our recovery. This program required no legislative change, only the will to act. Not a ‘remake’ of the Canadian economy, just a small change on how the Government’s approach to it.

Today’s announcements produce £2.4 billion in Barnett consequentials for the Welsh Government since Covid began. It’d be welcome if they’d use the money to accelerate infrastructure projects in Wales. Upgrading the A55 would be a good place to start.
