RT @TanDhesi: Face coverings on public transport can save lives. In my first statutory instrument as Shadow Rail Minister, I outlined my concerns that they should have been mandatory much earlier in this pandemic. Key workers and those who must use public transport need to be protected. https://t.co/sLp1Xo8Fo3

RT @TanDhesi: Govt privatisation is purely ideological, as I noted to @rachshabi in her incisive @nybooks piece on litany of failures in handling pandemic. Not through back door - the pillaging to firms linked to Tory members and donors is taking place in full view. nybooks.com/daily/2020/07/…

RT @WindsorForestCG: Fantastic contributions from all of those involved - staff, students, Josie Wragg (CEO of @SloughCouncil) and brilliantly chaired by local MP @TanDhesi. We look forward to taking the conversation forward 😌 (2/2)

RT @WindsorForestCG: What an engaging conversation we had on Friday about #BlackLivesMatter and what it means to us, how we can consider our personal and professional approach, our curriculum and our language... (1/2) https://t.co/fAnq3EwgXh

@SellarPeter @declanmclean @dhothersall @finlayson_vera @GeorgePeretzQC Needless to say I don't share your scepticism about Federalism. A separate state is structurally unworkable due to the fiscal and currency implications of transition. Federation becomes a much more optimal balance in that context. England is crying out for major decentralisation.

RT @TanDhesi: As @UKLabour have consistently argued, our trains should be renationalised. Most rail operators have been supported throughout this pandemic, but public ownership is clearly the best long term plan for both passengers & our rail network. bit.ly/3iZ1SHa

RT @TheLittlestBio: Things secondary school students go insane over: • snow • heavy rain • any thing that flies • farts • the duty pupil - several times a lesson • snot/dog poo/vomit • the lights acting weird • anything remotely gory (a heart) • a new student in the class
